Mrs. Battaglia has been an educator in Kinnelon since 1998. She started at Kiel School in first grade, then moved to second grade and is now teaching sixth through eighth grades in PRM as the media specialist. Mrs. Battaglia earned her undergraduate degree at College of St. Elizabeth in Morristown, NJ. Her Master’s in Education was earned at Montclair State University in Montclair, NJ. Mrs. Battaglia achieved her Library Media Specialist degree at William Paterson University.
Personally, Mrs. Battaglia advocates for and participates in community service. Amongst the local organizations she participates in, she also co-directs the Global Citizens Program, a volunteer program for 8th grade students.
Hours of Operation and Extra Help
Students in need of extra time in the media center using our resources can arrange an extra-help day after-school from 3:00-3:50 either Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Please see Mrs. Battaglia at the beginning of each week to schedule a time. Students must advise Mrs. Battaglia of their plans to stay after before any Tuesday or Thursday so plans can be made appropriately. Students are not permitted to use the media center without supervision.
Study Hall
Students in need of extra time in the media center using our resources can attend daily lunchtime Study Hall with Mrs. Battaglia.
